Twisted Autumn Darkness were formed in Norfolk in
1999. The band was originally Started By Sathan and
Aeon.
New Band Members Were Recruited , beginning with
Oskariot on bass guitar.
Next came Tenebrae on vocals, Mictian on keyboards
and finally Namaste on 2nd guitar.
The Line Up Was Complete and consisted of Namaste
(vocals, guitar), Aeon (lead guitar), Oskariot (bass),
Mictian(Keyboards) and Sathan (drums).
This line up began writing and rehearsing , producing its
own brand of melodic Black Metal.
In late 2001, the band went into the studio to Record
It's material. They recorded songs for an Demo EP
Titled "DARKNESS RISING".
The EP Was Released In January 2002 and was Well
Received Worldwide and stirred critical acclaim by the
underground scene claiming new fans as well as
reviews stating......“they're a breath of fresh air”.
Tenebrae And Mictian Left The Band In 2002 , Namaste
Took Over
Vocal Duties As Well As Guitar.
The now four piece signed a deal with Def2Music in
February 2003, though the changes in line up of
original vocalist and keyboardist the band stayed true
to the twisted energy. Blending there sinister guitar ,
inspired singing and songwriting they went into the
studio of May 2003 to begin recording a full length
album.
Entering Purple Studios in Norwich they brought in
recording engineer Richard Hammerton (Miranda Sex
Garden, Catherine Wheel, Deviated Instinct).
In October 2003 they Released there Full Length
Album Titled
"DESTROY THE BASTARD AND TRINITY"
on the Def2Music Label.
The reaction to the Album was nothing but positive,
feedback has been amazing with such reviews saying......
" Twisted Autumn Darkness have a wide range of
influences and are not trying to sound like or imitate
the leaders in the field, they are creating there own
brand of extreme metal. This music is there art, and
expresses there take on Black metal... "
In 2004 Sathan Moved To Norway.
In May 2005 Rongner Joined The Band On Vocals.
